Can the rest of NBA season possibly live up to the madness of the first week? Don’t bet against it. For our own mental health and lack of sleep hopefully things will settle down. Injured stars, fired coaches and rookies dads talking shit, the NBA once again provides entertainment and unintentional comedy on a level that no other professional sport can rival. Right now “The Process” is falling apart, there’s a Greek guy who may be on his way to redefining what is possible on a basketball court & the two teams that contested the 2017 finals have a combined 3-3 record.
Without over reacting to what has happened in the past seven days we again hope to provide you with a guide on which games to watch out for in the upcoming week as a UK based NBA fan. If you followed the advice of our twitter feed @pickandrolluk last week and succumbed to our gentle prodding about who to back, you should have come out smelling like roses. It’s not even Halloween and already we have intrigue, excitement, drama, plots, subplots and a whole variety of questions to be answered. Whether the next week will clear any of this up remains to be seen. Documenting this stuff is like being on an out of control rollercoaster. Buckle up.
